This one time when I went to a rave

So last week I went to a rave. By accident. I thought I was going to a regular ole concert, but I was sadly mistaken. Let me explain...

My husband bought tickets to a concert for him and two of my brothers to attend. A guys night, if you will. My oldest brother ended up not being able to go, so I was his stand-in. We all thought we were going to see this band 'Mimosa.' That totally appealed to me because I basically live on mimosas during the weekends.

When we arrived I had to show my ID and get my purse checked. That should've been my first clue that something was up. We walk in and there was a DJ on stage playing electronica mix music. There were people in fairy costumes, animal costumes, and girls who forgot it was 20 degrees outside. There were black lights, neon lights, glow paint, and hula hoops. People were dancing around like I've never seen. We were probably the oldest people there by 8-10 years. It turns out 'Mimosa' is a DJ, and we were at a rave. Oops.

Now, if you're into raves then good for you and there is no judgement here. It's just not my kind of thing. I'm more of a piano bar and wine kind of girl. Anyway, it was definitely an experience I won't soon forget. Here are some pics...
